Fork-tailed swifts

Outside the area, I know, but dozens of fork-tailed swifts were swooping/sweeping over Pittsworth on Thursday March 26, in the aftermath of a storm.

I was surprised to hear and see a male satin flycatcher high up in the neighbour's jacaranda and gums trees this morning. Can't recall seeing one in town before. I guess he's passing through.
