Yeah, I read the same report too. Well worth a look. Lake Broadwater is a magical place. A great record....and I haven't seen a Barking Owl either!

Wow! Pretty cool! I wonder if they're just passing or will hang around? I bet there are some around the waterworks in that case. It'd be interesting to see if anything else is on their tails.

Nice bit of wording. Australia is going through a frightening time. Everything the administrators are doing is opposite to the advice I read 20 or more years ago in Australian Government educational materials.

Arrived Tuesday night and went for a look south-west of Toowoomba yesterday, Thursday 18th August from about noon til 2pm. A great sight. I remember seeing a large flock of Australian Pelicans very high up and heading west over the city when I was at Prince Henry Drive, I think, last August.
