Bell Miner

Over 300 species have been reported with a 20 km radius of Toowoomba City since 1975. In any given year we can expect to record 220+ species with a combined effort (= the yearly challenge). See what's been reported so far in 2016. Post sightings of species on the wanted list.

Bell Miner

Post by Mick Atzeni »

Checked out the Bell Miners below Spring Bluff railway station this afternoon. This previously unknown colony, which we discovered during last October's Species Census, appears to be well and truly established.

A concern with Bell Miners is the dieback they may cause over time .://..bmad.com.au/about.html
