Migrant arrival dates are always a hot topic, particularly, the spring/summer migrants.

Think you've seen the first for the season? Post details here and let's see if you're right ...

Spectacled Monarch - 2008

Post by Mick Atzeni »

A Spectacled Monarch seen along the creek bed in Redwood Park, near eastern boundary this morning 26/9/08. I note this is 18 days later than Bill's 2006 record above.

Other migrants seen were Rufous fantail, Black-faced Monarch and Leaden Flycatcher.

Still haven't seen or heard a Koel or Channel-bill this season in Toowoomba, even though they're in the Lockyer.
