Rabbit in Toowoomba

It's not their fault they don't have feathers! Doesn't make them any less interesting. And just like the birds, it's good to know what species are about locally at any given time.

There's expertise within the club and beyond on most aspects of our local fauna. Let's tap into it.

Rabbit in Toowoomba

Post by Mick Atzeni »

My son Ged and I saw a rabbit last night around 7.30 in Brook St near the old dairy factory. It disappeared under the fence along the railway line just down from the railway bridge over Bridge St.

This is the first one we've ever seen in Toowoomba. I imagine it lives along Gowrie Creek on the other side of Brook street.

Has anyone else seen them in Toowoomba?
