Sugar Gliders @ Kleinton, among a few other new sightings.
We have now been living full time for about 3 weeks on our property at Kleinton and I am amazed at the new species we have seen there (considering we have owned the property for 3 years now). Last night I was in awe after witnessing two beautiful sugar-gliders, certainly one of the cutest animals, they were amazing to watch (with torches) as they fed and "played" in the tops of the flowering ironbark trees. We have also had Eastern Water Dragon's, today Musk Lorikeets visiting our rehabiliting Rainbow Lorikeets, White Faced Heron's eating the crayfish in the dam that is drying up quickly, Quailis (not sure what type they were), Flower Spider's just to name a few. Will post further sightings as they happen! Fingers crossed that we see our resident Rufous Bettong's again. Judi Gray.
