First record for Warwick, SEQ

Post by Mick Atzeni »

Chris Armstrong heard and saw a male blackbird along the Condamine River adjacent to Mill St in Warwick yesterday (19/11/08) around 7am.

This is the first blackbird reported in Warwick so I ask residents and visitors to Warwick to be vigilant and to report all sightings so appropriate control measures can be implemented.

No reports between Warwick and Toowoomba at this stage.

Thanks Chris for your prompt report.

Second record for Warwick

Post by Mick Atzeni »

Jenny Matheson saw a male blackbird on Sunday 14/2/10 along Junabee Rd on the eastern edge of town.

This is now the second report I've had from Warwick, and comes 14mo after the original sighting from Chris Armstrong.

Please continue to report all sightings in the area.
