Post by Mick Atzeni »

Brian Johnson saw a male bird hopping around his backyard (4 Tara St, Toowoomba) around 6.30am on 17/12. Also heard a blackbird singing in the neighbourhood to the south of his place around 5pm on 19/12.

Blackbirds return (Brian Johnson)

Post by Mick Atzeni »

Brian saw me to day at work to say the blackbirds turned up at his place again 7/11/2009. Since then he has seen one in his neighbour's yard and heard them calling from about five houses further along Tara St on Tuesday 10/11.

It is clear this Wilsonton population continues to tick along, largely unreported/unnoticed, year to year. Apart from Valerie Town who lives in nearby Fitzpatrick St, and Brian, no other Wilsonton residents have reported blackbirds this year.
