Powerful Owl at Geham, SEQ

Post by Rod Hobson »

Folks,

Some belated details on a Powerful Owl sighting by fellow QPWS employee Raelene Neilson on their home property, 9368 New England Highway, Geham Q 4352., at 56J - E 401669, N 6970315:

One owl seen about 6.30am on 29.04.08 about 5-6 metres high in tree being harassed by Blue-faced Honeyeaters, Noisy Miners, Australian Magpies and Pied Currawongs. Owl did not move despite attentions of its tormentors.
