Tree Martin & Yellow-tufted Honeyeater

How many species can we collectively record during 2008? Can we better the past two years? Can we reach 250?? Same rules as previous years. Good luck!

Tree Martin & Yellow-tufted Honeyeater

Post by Mick Atzeni »

There was a group of about 20 Tree Martins perched in a dead tree along Thomas Rd, Murphy's Ck this morning and a Yellow-tufted Honeyeater along the 15 Mile Rd near Horrocks Rd.

Plenty of honeyeaters about at present and we picked up 10 other species - Striped, Brown, Scarlet, Yellow-faced, White-naped, White-throated, Brown-headed, Fuscous, Lewin's, Noisy Friarbird.

Some spectacular country along White Mtn Rd, and the creek is running too!
