Oriental Cuckoo, Grey Goshawk, Pacific Baza

Post by Mick Atzeni »

Oriental Cuckoo seen again today (28/2) at Tiddalac, Upper Lockyer. Previously seen 15/2. Also a Pacific Baza down near the creek.

Grey Goshawk over the Toowoomba range highway yesterday morning near the bridle trail track around 8:45AM. Another one near Murphys Creek cemetery 21/2.

Chasing all records of Grey Goshawks locally; there's a very interesting seasonal pattern emerging from the club records. Please email me the details (date, location, number, whether white or grey morph) to matzeni@westnet.com.au for inclusion in a database I'm preparing.
