Hylacola at Girraween

Post by Rod Hobson »

Mick,

Paul Grimshaw has just advised me of a pair of Chestnut-rumped Heathwrens that he saw in Girraween National Park near the Swimming Hole on 30th September 2008.

These birds seem to be resident around the Swimming Hole as I, too, have seen them in this area on other occasions but you have to be looking early before other walkers get out on the tracks.

Thanks for the record, Paul.

Regards,
Rod H.
