Glossies at Hell Hole

This high profile conservation species is reported occasionally in the area. Given the interest in this species' conservation, including the Glossy Black Conservancy, it makes sense to store GBC sightings together for convenience.

Glossies at Hell Hole

Post by Rod Hobson »

Folks,

On the morning of 16.02.12 I saw three Glossy Black Cockatoos along Glen Lomond Creek at its crossing under Hell Hole Creek Road, Hell Hole. A local landowner and friend Catherine Burton who lives near here said that Glossy Blacks had been around their home on "Ridge Prospect" fairly regularly around that time. This area is great Glossy Black country.

See my posting on "The Challenge-2012" of 17.02.12 as well.

Regards,
Rod Hobson
