New Sightings for summer from 31st Dec 08 to 2nd Jan 09 on a property 1 hour west of Millmerran:

Blue Bonnet
White-winged Triller
Rufous Songlark
White-plumed Honeyeater
Varied Sittella
White-backed Swallow

Water and green grass everywhere meant large numbers of birds, but a change in the species at this wheat/cattle property, with a few new ones for the property, eg Whiskered tern, Glossy Ibis, Leaden Flycatcher and White-backed Swallow. Black cockatoos with red tails seen by the owners the day prior to our arrival, feeding on the Belah nuts.
