Black-chinned, White-naped & Yellow-tufted Honeyeaters

Post by Mick Atzeni »

This morning, Black-chinned, White-naped & Yellow-tufted Honeyeaters plus seven other species of honeyeater (Striped, Scarlet, Brown, Fuscous, Noisy & Litlle Friarbird, & Noisy Miner) were in flowering gums along Thomas Rd, Upper Lockyer, about 1km along from the turnoff

Yellow-tufteds were particularly common. Heard the Black-chinned call on several occasions, mostly from the habitat on the other side of railway line, but didn't manage to track one down.
