Yellow-faced H/eaters

Post by sburke »

During Sunday (2/5/10) while working in the garden I saw at least 10 flocks of Yellow-faced Honeyeaters flying over my house in a N/NW direction from the Black Gully area. The flocks ranged in size from 3 to 20 individuals. The interesting thing was they all used the same tall Qld Lacebark across the road from my house as a staging point and after stopping at the tree for as little as 30 seconds, all flocks changed direction and flew east toward the range.
