Autumn Catch-up from Abberton

Post by Bill Jolly »

Here is a short list of a few birds that are showing on the Autumn wanted list. I expect some of them will have turned up elsewhere by now, but I'll include any that are currently showing on the list, just to be safe. All these sightings are from Abberton.

Australasian Darter 17 April, 2010 (and throughout April & May since)
Little Black Cormorant 17 April, 2010 (also throughout April & May)
Eastern Great Egret 18 May, 2010
Straw-necked Ibis 17 April, 2010
Brown Falcon 20 April, 2010
Black Falcon 17 April, 2010
Long-billed Corella 24 April, 2010
Horsfields Bronze-Cuckoo 12 May, 2010
White-bellied Cuckoo-shrike 20 May, 2010 (Party of five, including one dark-morph bird - returned a few times since)
Restless Flycatcher 16 May, 2010

and, by the way, Black-faced Monarch still here on 15 April, 2010
