Grey-Crowned Babblers at Kleinton

Post by Brendon & Judi Gray »

I see Grey-Crowned Babblers almost on a daily basis. We only get them visiting the very front of our property at times and they do not seem to venture further - probably due to the nosiy minors that keep guard of any new bird entering "their" area! We have had one fly into a window here and stun itself, it recovered fine. The Grey-Crowned Babblers have had many nests over the last few years on Cooby Dam Road and I do see them in these areas almost daily when either driving or jogging. I havent taken a photo of them for quite a while, so will do that to doccument them. :)

Babblers Nest

Post by Brendon & Judi Gray »

The Babblers mentioned before currently have a nest on Cooby Dam Road and are seen often darting in and out of it. Hopefully it will not be disturbed as they started roadworks yesteday and the nest is very close to the edge of the road! Will keep an eye on it just in case.
