White-breasted Woodswallow

Sightings within the local survey area for the period 1 Jun - 31 Aug 2010. The local survey area is a rectangular area extending from Kingsthorpe NW of Toowoomba to the Mt Whitestone/Fordsdale area SE of Helidon.

5 White-breasted Woodswallows at Abberton on Friday, 9 July 2010, also yesterday and today.

Are they still around? I've still not seen this species in the local study area :? Definitely my local bogey bird!

Haven't seen them here since Sunday, but yesterday there were four on the wires just along Flagstone Creek Road between here and the Gatton Road.

It's only a skip from there to Lawlers Road, which is the most regular local hangout for White-breasted Woodswallows, so that could be worth a try.

I'll let you know straightaway if they re-appear here.
