We picked up an amazing 13 species of raptor in the Lockyer Valley, mostly around Gatton, during the club's raptor count last Saturday. The following species are additions for Winter:

Spotted Harrier 26/06/2010 Jahnke's Lagoon, Gatton
Brown Goshawk 26/06/2010 Placid Hills, near Lowes Rd
Little Eagle 26/06/2010 Lake Clarendon
Peregrine Falcon 26/06/2010 Jahnke's Lagoon, Gatton
Red-tailed Black-Cockatoo 26/06/2010 Lake Clarendon
Cockatiel 26/06/2010 Jahnke's Lagoon, Gatton
Blue-winged Kookaburra 26/06/2010 Greeen Swamp Rd, Lake Clarendon
Ground Cuckoo-shrike 26/06/2010 Lake Clarendon
Red-backed Fairy-wren 26/06/2010 Lake Clarendon

Forgot to add Great Cormorant, which we saw at Lowes Rd, Placid Hills on 26/6 during the Raptor Count.
