New to bird watching and forum

Post by Guest »

Hello Observers,

Kerry and I are new to bird watching having attended the Toowoomba City Council sessions, coming away motivated and enthusiastic.

We have been recording birds in our area and recently saw a single male red-capped robin but we weren't sure.

Since then, we think we located a second male and a female close by. The female was harder to identify. But with the help from Pizzey & Knight and Morcombe, we are now reasonably sure of what we had seen.

Is it of any interest for the recording target of '250 in 2006'?

regards

Welcome aboard!

We're certainly interested in your sighting for the Challenge. Even though it's such a beautiful, distinctive bird (the male), for newcomers like yourselves, we need full details of your sighting to support your claim. The easiest way to do so is to complete and submit a Rare Bird report on-line which you can access through the forum or by clicking the link on the Home page.

Look forward to your submission. If you have any questions please contact me.

Good birding!
