Also this Topknot report from Pat McConnell 16/12:
CheersStopped in to do some birding along Prince Henry Drive this morning on the way to work. The cicadas were deafening even by 7.00am and I could not hear a single bird call but there were lots of Topknot Pigeons flying about, one flock of about 40, another of about 12 and lots of individual birds. The figs are fruiting so it may be a good place to check out over the next couple of weeks if you are in the area. Probably first thing in the morning or late in the afternoon when hopefully the cicadas are a little more quiet.
