Here's a few more to add to others:-
Observed in backyard
Red Wattlebird
Satin Bowerbird
White-faced Heron flying overhead
Seen at Murphy's Creek Cemetery
Red-browed Finch
Silvereye
Picnic table Murphy's Creek opp. school
Bar-shouldered Dove
White-throated Gerygone
Striated Pardalote
Sacred Kingfisher
At lake at Dynamite Factory, Helidon
Black-winged Stilt
Grey Teal
Upper Flagstone Creek Road
Mistletoebird
Finally, we observed an Emu grazing in a recently harvested paddock
near the intersection of Flagstone Creek and Back Flagstone Creek
Roads. It was not in an enclosed area and seemed to be a wild bird, but it may have strayed from a nearby property.
All these sightings were made on 6th September.
A few more for early Spring

Emu at Lower Flagstone Creek
Wes & Norma
If that Emu proves to be wild then you have just discovered a new bird (#296) for the Toowoomba list!
We will have to make some enquiries to see if there were any escapees the locals are aware of. I was told a story 30-odd years ago there had been some fenced off on a property in that area that had arrived of their own accord, perhaps during a drought, but what happened to them I have no idea.
With this sighting hot on the heels of your Scarlet Robin, I think I'll start hanging with you guys from now on.
Thanks for sharing,
Cheers

Emu update
Wes & Norma
Saw the emu this morning along Flagstone Creek just west of Duncan Bridge, presumably in the same paddock you saw it.
Talking to some of the locals, it appears this bird is almost certainly an escapee from a local property following the January floods. There were two birds but one disappeared after a few weeks.
Awaiting more details.
Cheers
