Musk & Little Lorikeets

Post by smyliekylie »

I can't believe that such beautiful birds have graced my gum trees in Greenwattle St with their presence! I have the pleasure of Rainbow, Scaly-breasted, Little & Musk Lorikeets, and Pale-headed Rosellas. Who knows who else I'll discover hiding amongst the blossoms!
Very exciting :)
Cheers,

Hey Kylie. Sometimes I tend to take our common birds, including our Lorikeets & Parrots, for granted and it is not until a visitor reminds me of how beautiful they are that I realise how lucky we are in Australia. I remember back to the first time I ever saw a Musk Lorikeet up really close and was amazed at how beautiful they are in reality.

Keep having fun :)

Too true! All the colours, squawks and squeaks are still new and fascinating to me, common and not so common birds, they're all so beautiful!
Thanks for your encouragement
Cheers,
Kylie :D
