Topknot Pigeons
Had an interesting report from TBO member Greg Campbell last Friday who has had a flock of 30-40 Topknot Pigeons around their Upper Flagstone Creek property for a fortnight or so.
Topknots are very unpredictable locally. This year has been a particularly good one for them including sightings in E. Toowoomba (Queens Park, Webb Park area, Glen Lomond Park), Rockmount (along Sawpit Gully Rd), Ballard and now Upper Flagstone Creek. I also saw them flying over "Tiddalac", Upper Lockyer, the day after the January 10 floods - a first for there.
Be interested to hear of any other sightings locally.
Cheers
