Post by Mick Atzeni »

Saw an Intermediate Egret at the farm dam on the Postman's Ridge - Murphy's Creek Road, near Rossiters Rd, Lockyer, this morning. Also a White-necked Heron which .

Earlier, on the Friends of Escarpment Parks .://..fep.org.au/ Redwood Park Open Day walk we saw a pair of Glossy Black-Cockatoos flying over and, in the migrant department, recorded our first Drongo, Cicadabird and Black-faced Monarch for the season. The latter is also new for the year.

Rufous fantail, Regent Bowerbird, Varied Sittella, Varied Triller, a pair of Grey Goshawks and an acrobatic Yellow-footed Antechinus were other highlights.

Cheers
