White-winged Choughs at Stoneleigh

Post by sburke »

While looking out the bedroom window at the view this morning I watched as one, then two and then seven White-winged Choughs walked across the lawn. They were chatting to each other and flaring their wings. Their were two juveniles amongst the family group and I suspect that this is the same group thet I saw in the horse paddock earlier this year.

Lovely to see them right at the house :D

Cheers

Hanging around

Post by sburke »

When I got home from work yesterday (12/10/11) the Choughs were walking across the driveway.

This afternoon (13/10/11) I could hear the Choughs talking to each other in the scrub close to the house.

Cheers :)

Behind the shed

The Chough family were foraging around the shed this morning as I drove out. I pulled up and watched them for a few minutes and had a bit of a laugh at their shenanigans.

It's a good life.
