Red-kneed Dotterel & Hoary-headed Grebe

Two Red-kneed Dotterels and at least five Hoary-headed Grebes on the ponds at the end of Ashlands Drive, Postmans Ridge, this morning. Also a male Chestnut Teal.

Gazumped by Paul Laurie and Joe Allen who saw the first Red-kneed Dotterel for the year, at Murphys Bridge, Helidon on 27/10 during the Species Census.

Hoary-headed Grebe

Still a couple of Hoary-headed Grebes at Ashlands Drive site today (30/12). Also several Red-kneed Dotterels.
