A start (for me) for 2012

Post by gileas »

Hi all,

I've been so busy with work that last Saturday was my first attempt at birding in SEQ this year. Below are the birds I think are new for Autumn. Further afield, my highlight so far has been a Little Curlew at Bowen, no doubt a little lost!

Cheers,
Chris

* In a newly mown section of the paddock the Oriental Plover was in a few years back, at the junction of Banool Rd and Watsons Rd (near Lake Atkinson). There were three and they were quite happy posing out in the open.
