First Spring posting--Sunshine Coast

Had our first Spring outing on Friday 7th Sept. on a regularly surveyed route, a small reveg. patch on the Stanley River, then 8km along Cove Rd from Commissioners Flat to Stanmore. Mainly pastoral country, but many natural and man-made wetlands along route, as well as some bush. Birds identified included, at Commissioner's Flat:

Cattle Egret
Restless Flycatcher
White-throated Gerygone

Varied Triller
Shining-bronze cuckoo
