Post by Mick Atzeni »

Three more from quick runaround this morning:

Tree Martin 24/08/13 "Tiddalac", Upper Lockyer (several hawking over the paddocks in company of swallows; been around since ~24/7)

Australian Reed-Warbler 24/08/13 heard at the creek crossing, Lockyer Siding

Also at Lockyer Siding: a Peregrine Falcon overhead, pair of cackling Brown Falcons, two Yellow-billed Spoonbills, two Black-winged Stilts and two Black Swans along the creek.

Scarlet Honeyeaters abundant along Mill Rd, Upper Lockyer. Also nesting.

Cheers
