Work colleague Alan Skerman reported his first Sacred Kingfisher for the season which flew into his window at Glenvale on 1/10. It did recover.
They've been pretty thin on the ground so far; Wes and Norma Sturdee reported one at Murphy's Creek in early September

Sacred Kingfishers slow to return?
Well it helps to get out of the house. Got my first Sacred Kingfisher this season along the Postman's Ridge road this arvo.
