TBO led a walk this morning as part of FEP's Redwood Park Open Day .://..fep.org.au/fep-meetings.php?as_year=C

Light was awful and it was a bit drizzly but we managed the following species:

Collared Sparrowhawk
Brown Cuckoo-Dove
Peaceful Dove
Bar-shouldered Dove
Red-tailed Black-Cockatoo
Yellow-tailed Black-Cockatoo
Little Lorikeet
Pale-headed Rosella
Laughing Kookaburra
Sacred Kingfisher
Dollarbird
White-throated Treecreeper
Spotted Pardalote
Striated Pardalote
White-browed Scrubwren
Large-billed Scrubwren
Brown Gerygone
White-throated Gerygone
Lewin's Honeyeater
Yellow-faced Honeyeater
Scarlet Honeyeater
Eastern Yellow Robin
Eastern Whipbird
Golden Whistler
Rufous Whistler
Grey Shrike-thrush
Black-faced Monarch
Spectacled Monarch
Rufous Fantail
Grey Fantail
Spangled Drongo
Black-faced Cuckoo-shrike
Barred Cuckoo-shrike
Cicadabird
Varied Triller
Grey Butcherbird
Torresian Crow
Red-browed Finch
Tawny Grassbird
Silvereye

The most unusual was the Tawny Grassbird, a species I don't recall ever seeing in there before; could be a first for Redwood Park. Pat, please check.

Cheers
Mick

Mick reported a Tawny Grassbird from Redwood Park and said that it may be the first record for the park. Well as far as I can find out it is - well done!
