White-breasted Wooodswallow

Provided flooding rains don't spoil the party again, only slackness will prevent us nailing 230+ species this year.

White-breasted Wooodswallow

Post by Mick Atzeni »

Michael Wood & I checked the Helidon Spa golf course for White-breasted Woodswallow on Sunday in the same location they were seen this time last year and were rewarded with a brief look of a bird in flight.

We also thought we saw a Pallid Cuckoo in flight along the Back Flagstone Creek Rd, Iredale, but were unable to track the bird down to confirm our suspicions.

Both Pallid and Oriental Cuckoo are two reasonable chances for the list before the end of the year.

Cheers
Mick
