budgies

Post by Alastair Silcock »

Linthorpe 31st March

Think I was more startled than they were - 15 to 20 budgerigars burst out of a small tree on the edge of a paddock as I approached just before dark

also same vicinity for the wanted list: white winged chough & grey fantail

regards

Budgies

Post by Mick Atzeni »

Peter Vernon counted 28 budgies the following day (18/4) at "Mirravern", 964 Hirstvale Rd, Hirstglen, but has not seen any since.

I saw a small flock of about a dozen fly past while stopped at the roadworks along Woodlands Rd (nr Manteuffel Rd) between Gatton and Blenheim yesterday (23/4).

Cheers
