Noisy Friarbirds - winter absentees?

Post by Mick Atzeni »

Have never really noticed before, but from my monthly records around home over the past year it seems Noisy Friarbirds had cleared out by June and have just started to turn up again this month.

Is this the case elsewhere?

Returning Noisies

Agree whole-hearetedly, Mick. I too have noticed they have gone missing over the winter months, and I mean completely, at least around my place. And then, only this morning, I see one outside the back of the house. Maybe this bird's return marks the change of season?
