Pictorella Mannikins SW of Bowen (Bill Holmes)

Post by Mick Atzeni »

In an email from Bill today (17/4/2008):
Mick

We're besieged by pictorella mannikins again, after their first-time appearance around Townsville last year. We've had some more local sightings, and yesterday I saw some 45 km SW of Bowen.

The dry in the NW must have driven them out.

I'll let you speculate on how much further they might have gone.

Yrs
