Horsfield's Bronze-Cuckoo and five others

Post by Mick Atzeni »

Horsfield's Bronze-Cuckoo 13/12/09 "Tiddalac", Upper Lockyer - new for property
Striated Thornbill 13/12/09 "Tiddalac", Upper Lockyer
Tree Martin 13/12/09 "Tiddalac", Upper Lockyer
Purple Swamphen 12/12/09 farm dam, Upper Lockyer
Restless Flycatcher 12/12/09 farm dam, Upper Lockyer
Clamorous Reed-Warbler 12/12/09 farm dam, Upper Lockyer

Incidentally, had three Yellow-billed Spoonbills over Tiddalac late yesterday which was another new bird for the property. Loose mixed flocks of Fork-tailed Swifts and White-throated Needletails were passing over around the same time, about 200 in total although very hard to judge as most were quite high.
