Three more!

Thanks to replenishing rains in the Lockyer Valley, we're well placed for a record haul in 2009. No excuses why we can't give 250 spp a real shake. Over to you ...

Three more!

Post by Mick Atzeni »

Look out. The wet sail's hoisted and we're coming with a rush! Six spp added recently. Now up to 226 spp, just two shy of the record.

Pat McConnell, Kath O'Donnell, Ken McKeown picked up the following apecies today (20th Dec)

Spotless Crake - heard along the creek on private property, Iredale
Marsh Sandpiper - single bird at Hood's dam, Helidon

That's three on the one day counting Bill's earlier report of Black-tailed Native-hen.

Ken also reports seeing an Australian Owlet-nightjar on a friend's place along Berghofer Drive, Table Top Estate, on 6th Dec.
