Springbrook NP birds

Springbrook NP 18 May 2010

A pair of Logrunners spinning around in the leaves in the Tallanbana picnic area, just off the road, seen just after dawn and just before dusk, all over the picnic ground and able to be closely approached.

Pics can be seen at my blog - .://..robertashdown.com/blog/

Russet-tailed Thrush also out in the open in the same location.

Albert's Lyrebird seen on the track less than a kilometre from the picnic ground. Also seen and heard on the Warrie Circiuit, and calling loudly just below the Best of All Lookout at dawn.

Yellow-throated Scrubwren on the Best of All Lookout track.
