Swift Parrots, Girraween (May record)

Post by gileas »

Hi all, a huge apology is in order, I had this record only a day before a long trip away, and didn't have time to get the news out to everywhere.

A few of us made a trip to Old Wallangara Rd towards the end of May and found both Turquoise Parrot and Swift Parrot near the corner where the vineyard is. Diamond Firetails were also easily seen in the area, and there were a party of White-browed Babblers getting around too.

Details of the sighting and photos can be seen here: .://birdo.wildiaries.com/trips/10602

Apologies again.

Regards,
Chris Sanderson
